The Association for female managers and businesswomen in Biscay (AED) has selected Ana Camacho, Begoña San Miguel (General Manager at OJA- REM) and Marta Uriarte (General Manager at El Transbordador de Vizcaya) as the prizewinners of its 13rd edition Business Award.
With this recognition, the Association wants to raise awareness on the integration of women in companies as a basic condition for the economic and social sustainability, as well as give visibility to these women´s work. The awards ceremony will be held on May 7th, in Bilbao (Northern Spain).
In the organization representative words“winners on this edition are businesswomen and managers which have become models and leaders in their sectors, as well as a source of inspiration, not just for those women who develop their professional activity within companies, especially the youngest, but for the society in general.”
A jury comprising 15 representatives of the main regional institutions and companies has highlighted the hard work made by them to easy the full and effective incorporation of the women in the industrial fabric.
