BATZ will be sharing its experience at the CHS2 International Conference, taking place form June 2nd to 5th in Sweden.

Under the topic “Effective Implementation of hot cutting of 22MnB5 during press hardening: tooling performance and part properties” we will describe how we meet global environmental challenges as well as the safety ones within the automotive sector through new materials for press hardening solutions. In this regard, the results of the study carried out in cooperation with Eurecat for evaluating the integration of trimming and quenching of boron steel will be presented.

The biannual CHS2 conference series has after six very successful conferences since 2008 grown into the leading platform for scientific exchange in hot forming technologies. The CHS2 conference undoubtedly constitutes the most important event for the international scientific community in the field.
