El 20 de octubre fue un día de reflexión y gratitud, ya que tuvo lugar un hito muy especial en la historia de BATZ, su 60º aniversario.
La Diputada General de Bizkaia Elixabete Etxanobe tomó parte en la celebración del 60 aniversario de BATZ en su planta de Igorre, en un acto que sirvió como un recordatorio de la fortaleza y la constancia que ha caracterizado a BATZ a lo largo de estas seis décadas.
“Debo trasladaros mi agradecimiento porque en este largo recorrido BATZ ha liderado el desarrollo económico de Arratia y de Bizkaia, generando empleo y riqueza en esta comarca. Llegar hasta aquí no es fácil. En 60 años ocurren muchas cosas y sólo los mejores son capaces de superar todas las dificultades”
El acto estuvo respaldado también por representantes de diferentes instituciones; la Diputada Foral del departamento de Promoción Económica Ainara Basurko, Iñigo Ucin Presidente de la Corporación Mondragón y Leire Mugerza Presidente de la Comisión Permanente y Congreso de Mondragón. Además, contamos con la presencia la alcaldesa de Igorre Olatz Urkiza; así como representantes de ITP, de otras cooperativas de la división como Laboral Kutxa y Lagun Aro, Colegio Zulaibar, fundación ERROTA y LKS Next, entre otros.
Carlos Orueta y Xaber Ozerinjauregi, Gerente General y Presidente de BATZ respectivamente, lideraron la comitiva de recepción junto con varios portavoces del Consejo Rector, del Consejo de Dirección y del Consejo Social de la Cooperativa.
Por último, desde BATZ no queremos dejar pasar esta oportunidad de agradecimiento.
Todos estos años han estado marcados por grandes desafíos, múltiples logros alcanzados, pero, sobre todo, por personas excepcionales que han sido parte de este viaje. Para esta ocasión, queremos rendir homenaje a todos los que han caminado a nuestro lado, desde los fundadores que dieron los primeros pasos, hasta nuestros colaboradores actuales que continúan trabajando incansablemente día a día.
A todos los clientes, proveedores, y stakeholders que nos acompañan en nuestra actividad, gracias por vuestra dedicación y apuesta por BATZ. A las Instituciones, al pueblo de Igorre, al valle y todo su entorno, a la Corporación MONDRAGON; gracias por hacerlo posible. A nuestros socios y trabajadores, cuyo esfuerzo, perseverancia y buen hacer han sido el principal motor de haber llegado hasta aquí. Cada proyecto completado, cada innovación lograda y cada obstáculo superado han sido posibles gracias al compromiso inquebrantable.
Celebramos nuestro pasado y también miramos hacia el futuro con entusiasmo. En nombre de BATZ y todos los que han formado parte de estos 60 años, ESKERRIK ASKO. Confiamos en seguir avanzando juntos hacia el siguiente capítulo de nuestra historia.

Urriaren 20a hausnarketa eta esker oneko eguna izan zen, mugarri berezia izan baitzen BATZen historian, bere 60. urteurrena.Bizkaiko Ahaldun Nagusia den Elixabete Etxanobek BATZeko 60. urteurrenaren ospakizunean parte hartu zuen, Igorren. Ekitaldia BATZek sei hamarkada horietan zehar izandako indar eta irmotasun gogorren omenez egin zen.
“BATZ zoriondu nahi dut egindako bide luze honetan Arratiako eta Bizkaiko garapen ekonomikoa gidatzearren. Enplegua eta aberastasuna sortu ditu eskualde honetan. Hona iristea ez da erraza izan, 60 urteetan gauza asko gertatu daitezke eta onenak bakarrik dira zailtasun guztiak gainditzeko gai direnak”
Ekitaldiak erakunde ezberdinetako ordezkarien laguntza ere izan zuen; Ainara Basurko Ekonomia Sustatzeko Saileko Foru Diputatua, Iñigo Ucin Mondragon Korporazioko presidentea eta Leire Mugerza Mondragoneko Kongresu presidentea. Horrez gain, Olatz Urkiza Igorreko alkatearen presentzia izan dugu; baita ITPko ordezkariak, dibisioko beste kooperatiba batzuk, hala nola Laboral Kutxa eta Lagun Aro, Zulaibar Arratiako Lanbide Ikastegia, ERROTA fundazioa eta LKS Next, besteak beste.
Carlos Orueta eta Xaber Ozerinjauregi, BATZeko zuzendari nagusiak eta presidenteak hurrenez hurren, harrera taldea zuzendu zuten kooperatibako Kontseilu Errektoreko, Zuzendaritza Kontseiluko eta Kontseilu Sozialako hainbat bozeramailerekin batera.
Azkenik, BATZen ez dugu eskerrak emateko aukera hau galdu nahi.
Urte hauetan erronka handiak eta lorpen anitzak izan ditugu, baina batez ere, ibilbide honen parte izan diren pertsona apartak erabakigarriak izan dira. Oraingo honetan, gure ondoan ibili diren guztiei omenaldia egin nahi diegu, lehen urratsak eman zituzten sortzaileetatik, egunez-egun etengabe lanean jarraitzen duten gure egungo kolaboratzaileetaraino.
Gure jardueran bidelagun gaituzten bezero, hornitzaile eta interesdun guztiei, eskerrik asko BATZekiko zuen dedikazio eta konpromisoagatik. Erakundeei, Igorreko herriari, bailarari eta bere inguru osoari, MONDRAGON Korporazioari; eskerrik asko zure baldintzarik gabeko laguntzagatik. Gure bazkide eta langileei, haien esfortzua, irmotasuna eta ekintza onak izan baitira honaino iristeko bultzatzaile nagusia. Amaitutako proiektu bakoitza, lortutako berrikuntza eta gainditutako oztopo bakoitza erabateko konpromisoari esker posible izan da.
Gure iragana ospatzen dugu eta etorkizunari ere ilusioz begiratzen diogu. BATZen 60 urte hauen parte izan zarien guztioi, ESKERRIK ASKO. Elkarrekin aurrera egingo dugu gure historiaren hurrengo kapitulurantz.

October 20th was a day of reflection and gratitude, as a very special milestone took place: BATZ’s 60th anniversary.
Elixabete Etxanobe took part in the celebration of BATZ’s 60th anniversary at its Igorre plant, in an event that served as a reminder of the strength and perseverance that has characterized BATZ over these six decades.
“I must express my gratitude because in this long journey, BATZ has led the economic development of Arratia and Bizkaia, generating employment and wealth in this region. Getting to this point is not easy. Many things can happen in 60 years and only the best are able to overcome all the challenges.”
The event was also supported by representatives of different Institutions; the Provincial Deputy of the Department of Economic Promotion Ainara Basurko, Iñigo Ucin President of the Mondragón Corporation and Leire Mugerza President of the Permanent Commission and Congress of Mondragón. In addition, we have the presence of the mayor of Igorre Olatz Urkiza; as well as representatives of ITP, other cooperatives of the Division, such as Laboral Kutxa and Lagun Aro, Colegio Zulaibar, ERROTA foundation and LKS Next, among others.
Carlos Orueta and Xaber Ozerinjauregi, CEO and President of BATZ respectively, led the reception group along with several spokespersons from the Governing Council, the Board of Directors and the Social Council of the Cooperative.
Last but not least, at BATZ we don’t want to miss this opportunity to express our gratitude.
All these years have been marked by great challenges, multiple achievements, but above all, by exceptional individuals who have been part of this journey. For this occasion, we want to pay tribute to all those who have walked alongside us, from the founders who took the first steps, to our current collaborators who continue to work tirelessly day by day.
To all the customers, suppliers, and stakeholders who accompany us in our activities, thank you for your dedication and commitment to BATZ. To the institutions, the people of Igorre, the valley and its surroundings, to the Mondragon Corporation; thank you for making it possible. To our partners and employees, whose effort, perseverance, and good work have been the main driving force behind getting us to this point. Every completed project, every innovation achieved, and every obstacle overcome have been possible thanks to unwavering commitment.
